Oleo Strut Coffeehouse is a new chapter in a historic story of service, community, and connection. Inspired by the original Oleo Strut of the Vietnam era—a place where soldiers found support, conversation, and a sense of belonging—we’re bringing that spirit into the digital age as we begin our journey online first, with a full brick‑and‑mortar opening planned for 2027.

Founded by Louie Minor, an Iraq War veteran and Bell County Commissioner, Oleo Strut is built on the belief that community thrives when people have a place to gather, share ideas, and feel seen. Louie’s path—from serving overseas to serving Precinct 4—shapes our mission: create a welcoming, grounded space where every neighbor, veteran, family, and friend can connect.

Our online launch allows us to start building that community now—through conversations, storytelling, local partnerships, and veteran‑focused initiatives—while we prepare to open our physical doors in Central Texas. When the brick‑and‑mortar Oleo Strut Coffeehouse opens in 2027, it will be a home for meaningful dialogue, great coffee, and the shared commitment to making our community stronger.
